We are a childcare center located in the heart of beautiful Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. We began almost ten years ago in a storefront. After outgrowing that space we moved to a larger location. and five years later, we moved again to a larger facility. For the past ten years all of our enrollment was based on “word of mouth” recommendations by our parents. Our relationship with our parents and our team based approach has been our backbone and the secret to our success.

Here at Little Steps, we are also parents who understand how difficult it is to drop off your bundle of joy and leave them in the care of someone else. Emergency Plan
Our emergency plan provides for response to all types of emergencies. Depending on the type of emergency, we will use one of the following protective actions: *Immediate evacuation: In the event of a fire students will be evacuated to the building adjacent to the center. *In place sheltering: In cases of sudden occurrences related to weather or hazardous materials students will be secured inside the building.
Our Philosophy
Little Steps Academy Childcare Center is committed to providing quality care for children of every race, creed, nationality, disability, ability and socio-economic background. We believe that every child is unique with individual strengths, abilities, and needs. Our setting allows us to assess the needs of each child and provide the appropriate levels of care. We are a team. Our goals are your goals. Together we will set the goals for your child and together we will work towards achieving them milestone by milestone. The aim of our program is to prepare children for entrance into kindergarten.
